Our Story

After a distinguished 25-year career as a trial attorney, Tom Economy launched TEAMediation to offer attorneys and their clients a pragmatic and resolution-focused alternative to trial. His approach reflects the perspective of a seasoned litigator.

A Career Built in the Courtroom

Tom’s legal career includes extensive experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants in personal injury and civil litigation cases. He has tried numerous jury trials to verdict and argued before both the Michigan Court of Appeals and the Michigan Supreme Court. His areas of expertise include:

Tom lives in Bloomfield, Michigan, with his wife Helen, a pediatrician, and their two children. When he’s not working on resolving legal disputes, he enjoys time with family, traveling, and staying connected to the local community.
